Author Janet Evanovich’s latest Stephanie Plum novel, Smokin’ Seventeen is setting new sales records, particularly in eBook format. Her publisher Random House states that this is their “largest first-day sale” for any Random House book published this year. To date, 100,000 hardcovers, 100,000 eBooks and 18,000 audio books have been sold at U.S. outlets.

This is Evanovich’s seventeenth novel in the Stephanie Plum New Jersey bounty hunter series, and is her eleventh consecutive bestseller.
