PEN Center Announces Literary Winners

Chosen by a panel of “writers, editor, critics, and journalists”, the 2011 PEN Center Literary Awards have just been announced. Literary winners are chosen from eleven categories and represent writing talent in the Western United States.

PEN Center USA: “has a membership of more then 600 professional writer. PEN Center USA strives to protect the rights of writers around the world, to stimulate interest in the written word, and to foster a vital literary community among the diverse writers living in the western states.”
