It reads like romance novel, but it’s effect is far reaching. In the grips of a horrible, incurable cancer, one kid with iron strength is helping other victims of this brutal disease. Harry Moseley is eleven years old and has incurable brain cancer. In his battle, he chose an army of wordsmiths to help in the fight against cancer; and what an amazing assortment of authors he has gathered.
In brilliant anthology called Author Moments, nineteen of the crafts finest romance writers have donated stories. As part of Authors Helping Harry, all proceeds from the sale of the book are going to cancer research. Harry has already raised over $500,000 dollars with this and other endeavors.
According to the American Cancer Society; 44% of men and 37% of women will have cancer in their lifetime. That is nearly half the population. Help Harry in his fight.
This is amazing! I’m glad it’s happening!
Thank you for featuring the anthology. Sadly, Harry lost his battle with cancer on Oct. 8th of this year (2011) His campaign continues, however – and the total amount raised by this amazing young man, and through his campaign Help Harry Help Others, is now over £650,000 (which is close to $1 million American dollars) We appreciate the support and continue to work to raise funds in search of a cure for this horrible disease. A second anthology will be released in December (2011)
